This iron rail was my first large project.
The client was restoring a house on
Main Street in Telluride, Colorado.
Telluride was a mining town and the
client wanted to celebrate that by
having a hand-forged railing.
I made this railing in my old, 300 square
foot shop by myself; it took just under a
year to complete.
The money I made afforded me the
ability to put a down payment on my
present shop.
