The title Nodus is a derivative of the two
words nodule and knot. It can also
mean complication or difficulty.
These sculptures are about growth,
whether cellular, crystalline, or human.
The inspiration for this series was
unfortunately due to a family member's
struggle with cancer.
Happily, they recovered with
treatments.
