The client wanted to use very large

material in this railing and kept asking if

I could use anything larger; as it is each

section of rail weighs over 250 pounds.

I suppose after losing 3 screened

enclosures to hurricanes, he wanted

something that could not be moved or

damaged.

The design is loosely based on rippling

water.  The iron gates had to be self

closing gates so I made a traditional

hinge system seen above in the details

photos.

It resides in a gated community next to

a prestigious golf course.
