This iron gate was commissioned by a

community in Baltimore, Maryland.

They hired 4 separate metal workers to

create gates -- one for each entrance

into the alleyways behind their houses.

Aside from security, the purpose was to

create a community garden in the

backyards from the newly enclosed

square block.
